I love what you can find when you’re not looking for it.
When doing some research and scouting around for some imagery on another story, I found this wonderful chestnut for those among us who LOVE spotting board layouts and design. In the past I’ve covered some true beauties including Jack Edwards’ setup from the Boston Bruins, and several are available for download on this site. However none are quite as ‘pretty’ or well constructed as BBC’s Nick Barnes.
EightbyEight Mag did a marvelous piece on his game notes in the 5th edition of their magazine, which incidentally is equally as stunning. The article doesn’t feature a tonne of information, but does showcase some great photographs of his notebook which is laid out efficiently and colour coded perfectly.
