On Monday we talked about Vin Scully’s final game, final year and final call of his illustrious career. However in the process of gathering articles and video for that post, I came across an old video of Vin going over his prep techniques.
It’s a fascinating 8 minute trip through one of the all-time greats and how he goes about collecting information for a game. The video itself is a few years old but it covers personal anecdotes, what to put into a game, what to leave out, how to gather relevant information and gives an insight into how Vin was able to create magic for over 60 years.
